Dragon Fruit

The Pitaya is more commonly referred to as the dragon fruit. It is thought to have come from South America. The French are believed to have brought the dragon fruit to Vietnam over a hundred years ago. Dragon fruits were grown there to be eaten by royalty and very wealthy families.

It is an extremely beautiful fruit that has dazzling flowers, called as “Queen of the Night”. The flowers of the dragon fruit plant only bloom at night and usually only live for one night. Pollination happens at this time to allow the fruit to emerge. The flowers of the dragon fruit give out a very beautiful scent, and the smell can fill the night air wherever the plant grows.

Dragon Fruits and its flowers have their interesting medicinal properties which make them highly appreciated. It contains nutrients which is 10 times more powerful than vitamin A. It has power of Antioxidant. Anti-oxidants are widely used as ingredients in dietary supplements that are used for health purposes such as preventing cancer and heart disease, purify blood, anti cancer, anti tumor and also helps body slimming and beauty too. The dragon fruits also have a high nutritional value including vitamin C, calcium, potassium and fiber. They are claimed to reduce cholesterol that is the cause of coronary heart disease. Besides, it contains a laxative effect which helps the digestive system. The fruit is considered by some as a health fruit.

Passion Fruit
Passion fruit is high in dietary fiber, vitamin A, vitamin C and Potassium. The nutritional value and health benefits of passion fruit make it deals for maintaining optimum health and weight loss. Passion fruit have somniferous properties, and when taken before going to bed they are effective in relaxation and a restful sleep during the night.

Papaya

Banana

Pineapple
Fresh pineapple is rich in bromelain, a group of sulfur-containing proteolytic (protein-digesting) enzymes that not only aid digestion, but can effectively reduce inflammation and swelling, and has even been used experimentally as an anti-cancer agent. A variety of inflammatory agents are inhibited by the action of bromelain.
